Resolved: Known issue

Alright, I was able to reproduce the error on a fresh install inside a french joomla enabled site; and I have a solution! I'll have a new gnosis plugin ready in a few hours, if not sooner. I am so sorry with all the issues with language files, and I appreciate your patience. I never developed components with language in mind before and I am afraid I am doing all my learning on this one!

Gnosis 1.0.6 is now available and includes the language file you provided with a credit in the code and release notes to you.

I tested it in three separate Joomla! installs; two of which was a French install, and switched back and forth between French and English. The tags are now correctly translated with the respective language.

I think with this release Gnosis is finally getting close to a release candidate.

Below is the gnosis plugin if you want to only install that, instead of the entire package.

Nothing has changed in the gnosis component though.

If you have uninstalled the gnosis package, and have trouble reinstalling it, just unzip the package and install the extensions individually.

Converted the file to UTF-8 without BOM. It should display the characters correctly now! -- Looks like you beat me to it.
