Could you add a link to original, the file that needs to be translated?

I might try to translate to German, my other languages are not perfect.

Hi Tees, sorry I haven't responded to this post sooner. I missed it somehow. You can find all the files that need to be translated in either your joomlaroot\language\en-GB folder, or the joomlaroot\administrator\language\en-GB folder. All together there will be 3 ini files that need to be translated for com_gnosis, and com_gnosis will be part of the file names.

in the joomlaroot/language/en_GB folder: en-GB.com_gnosis.ini
in the administrator/language/en_GB folder: en-GB.com_gnosis.ini, and en-GB.com_gnosis.sys.ini

If you need to translate the plugin ini files, you can find their respective files in the same above mentioned folders.

Again, sorry i did not respond sooner. I'm transferring to a new college, and applying to part time jobs to help offset the cost of school, so I've been a little busier than usual. =)

Hello, I want to translate gnosis to spanish, I've already found the 3 files and I've already translated them. Now I have to copy them in the es-ES folder, right? This is the one that I have for the spanish language. It will automatically change or I have to install Gnosis again?
Once I translate them I don't know what to do :(

Thank You!

Hi Reiblu,

Just copy them into the corresponding es-ES folder. There will be some for the administrator side, and some for the site side. It should automatically change translations to correspond to your Joomla installation at that point. If not, let me know.

Thanks for your fast reply!!

I translated the three files and I copied them into the gnosis component (One in the site folder and the other two in the administrator folder), then I uninstalled the one that I had in joomla and installed the modified one.
It does work for the front-end but it doesn't work for the back-end, why could it be?
